Coin is blowing up. Mining must be pretty profitable.
I don't know, difficulty is sky high.
Nethashrate is 13 Gh/s

Quote
"blocks" : 7655,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 220.78723992,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 13024913638,
"pooledtx" : 4,
"testnet" : false

that is normal, i remember when LTC has 90 GH and the diff is about 2500-3000

And I like Scrypt, I think it will survive over the X's.

At first I was also in the camp that the algo would make scrypt obso.   Then I put a few other elements in the equation.  While there has been an increase in hashing power via the new asics coming online,  there is in the market many many many scrypt coins out there.   More then enough to spread the hashing power.   So keeping this in mind, so long as new coins that come on the scene and offer additional value...scrypt algo is not going to die anytime soon.

Scrypt is definitely dying.  There are already ASICs that out perform the GPUs and once the big ASICs come it'll be like mining Bitcoins with GPUs, no one will do it as it will not be profitable.  X11, X13, Scrypt-N, Blake, and others are the new GPU go to algo. Get on it or get left behind.

I will take the under. MultiPools just noticed this coin and it's more likely to drop down at .0007 and to go up to .0017.

It is only not profitable for gpu, just like bitcoin.
But there will still be a lot of miners mining with ASIC

This.

Also WTF with the price? I think some people will cry when more coins hit the market. This went 100k directly.

It has already gone to .0007  what do you expect when multipool asics hit the coin?

I was watching Bittrex and a guy was actively pushing it down, at first it wasn't working but then it finally started going down. When it reached .0008 he stopped doing his little shenanigans of multiple 1 coin or 10 coin orders and I honestly thought it wasn't going to work it was too obvious but...
