I am not a native English speaker, but I always thought "trading A for B" = "giving A and in return getting B".

I have a prepaid visa and I'm trying to get BTC. Apologies for not specifying.

I'm in the United States. You can use it like a credit card and it's possible to transfer it to a bank account or PayPal; you don't need the physical card to do either of those. It's one of those that you have to register but I haven't done that. I have the receipt and card
