+60 % seems a bit crazy for a currency that has no devs and neverending inflation to me.
I agree. This is just a pump imho. I was able to get in early and sold it at around 0,011, but i have no courage to rebuy it again at this price considering the BTC price from last night

I mean, its an interesting idea, and I would like to belive that this coin has potential, but there was clearly some manipulation going on yesterday. Its just kind of scary to buy into a coin at the end of a dump since you don't really know where the true bottom is.

the true bottom for any coin on poloniex right now(assuming the coin has no other value, which im not saying is the case here) is the cost of cornering the market in question for the biggest investor actively trying to do so. Im not sure how many 1CR are on poloniex but it must be less than the total market cap which only a week ago was around 80,000 usd. Taking into account the fact that not all holders will be actively trading and some will hold out for much higher prices, the bottom is probably close to where it was a few days ago, and with the added attention it's likely significantly higher now, although probably still below current prices the key words are "on poloniex right now" which has two parts, being listed on poloniex (i.e. not delisted) and in the current trading environment (trader sophistication, size, information, preferences) there is definitely a lot of risk in 1CR, which is not inherently bad as anyone buying a few weeks ago learned over the past few days I'm holding the ones i have left and will follow the developments. It would be nice to hear from some miners or people who are interested in developing though on some of the mining issues and ways to address them I wouldn't suggest that proof of stake would necessarily be better but it would certainly be more functional than the current situation as well as encouraging people to run fully synced wallets and hold their coins off exchange to stake.

there is manipulation of every coin - no epiphany there.

Okay, a little update from my end. I'm in contact with a game developer as well as learning the capabilities of buying code for a game and changing it myself. I'm continuing on full speed ahead on the front-end side, have multiple websites in planning and development (things like a blog site for sending out news and a site that serves as a hub that links to reputable 1CR mining pools).
We're going to plan a rough-draft roadmap and see how the community likes it and discuss/debate what improvements can be made.
We should have a fully playable game within 2-3 weeks, probably sooner rather than later. It won't be able to pay out 1CR until the blockchain is fixed, so that has to be a priority.
I think we should hardfork (or hire someone who can do that for us) so that the coins from the attacker are rendered useless. After that, we'll have a strong blockchain with many miners making it too difficult to attack.
Is there anyone here who can take over the back-end work of stabilizing the blockchain?

there are no real devs on board. As I said, I am looking into how to change the mining algo to have a more reliable blockchain, but this can take weeks, or even months. I will in the meantime set up a website where the binaries can be downloaded. Because currently, there is only the code at github.

Man-up! Everything is a roll-of-the-dice - So Roll the Bones.

Well, the obvious "news" which is totally fake as everything since the start of this pump has been release on twitter : https://twitter.com/1CreditOfficial/status/782626234996064256I can't really understand why people ... BELIEVED in and "incredible", "unprecedented" news. I mean, it was so FUCKING OBVIOUS. Every one on this thread (and here I think about dnaleor thanks man) is saying since days that 1CR doesn't have any devs and you guys just don't read or I don'k know Twitter account, 1CR website are just stuff designed by the whale and manipulator. There will be no beta game, no whitepaper, nothing ! Stop dreaming and come back to the heart. Sorry, but it's only your fault and your stupidity if you are taking loss on 1CR. Polo moderator say it every minutes: INFORM YOURSELF

That being said, I am looking into how to continue this coin, but this will be a long term project and I am not an experienced dev. 1Credit is one of the most fair coins that exist in terms of emission. It would be sad if people would call it a scamcoin.

Dnaelor, I have lots of people asking about getting in on the slack group. Would you please open it up to the public? Programmers and game developers, and content creators would love to get involved on there. It's a place for them to collaborate as well, since the programmers and game developers have to work together to create a payout system for the game.
Also, I've found someone who would like to tackle the challenge of stabilizing the blockchain.
