I think for the next months we will see a few up and down waves, mostly staying around the same levels or small increase. Than before or by september it will get back to the 4 digits.

Should have posted this in the Speculation sub-section within the Economics section, rather than posting here in the Bitcoin Discussion section.

Anyway.... I don't think that Bitcoin will hit $1,000 again, at least for the next 3-4 months. We had plenty of good news flooding in for the last few weeks, and Bitcoin is almost 100% higher than what it was in April. Perhaps now it is time for a small correction.

1000$? I hope not! I would prefere steady slow grow with natural ups and downs. Crazy price jumps like ones from last year are not good for anything except few that will make large sum of money out of it. If we really care about BTC and not ONLY about short term walefare, we shouldnt summon those kind of events.

As aforementioned , the price will most likely continue on its slow upwards path.

Huge news will change this though , so if Paypal makes an announcement about BTC , supporting it , it would surge up really quickly.
Declaration of legal status of Bitcoin in any other country will also cause a moderate price shift.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

Don't know, don't care. Bitcoin's day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month fluctuations are of little interest to me. These things are like weather - chaotic and difficult to predict.

Bitcoin's year-over-year and decade-over-decade exponential growth in both use and value are of great interest to me. This is like climate change - very predictable, very important, and very man-made.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

I think it will. The news about china banning bitcoin is not entertain anymore. I think the trader got immune to negative news and only listened to positive news.
