Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I will be posting a new round shortly.  I am going to try and make it harder with a little bigger payout.  Hopefully that will spur more small donations so the pot can grow more evenly.  The goal was to generate some interest for this game and eventually start a website, but I don't think there is enough interest yet.  Please donate a few bitcents to the pics to keep interest alive if you would like to see this game become a standalone website eventually.
