calling bare hardware with no case nice? very nice!
new s4 has got the same price/hash power, it has psu, fans, and you can get 200$ reduction...

make a nice case with psu at the bottom, put the miner above psu, put silent fans...now you can market it as silent miner! keep the same price, 210euros and you will have a lot of buyers!

You are absolutely right! if you can manage all that and keep the price at 210 euro you can come work for me starting tomorrow.  Grin

Thats easy! For starters, you can grab a few server PSU's for about 10 EUR then all you need to design are the boxes!

On a serious note, I just ordered one YBF300+SET for BTC 0.8333 total (not paid yet!), question is, what is the power required to run these rigs and what software (if any) supports them?
EDIT: Order just expired .... you do take your time to respond, don't you? Makes you wonder about after sales' customer service.

Power required for the YBF300+ is 250W minimum @12V input.Additional software isn't needed, it's build-in the miner, just connect to your network and access the webinterface.

regarding "Order just expired", I can't help that, that is the way Bitpay handles payment, you have to pay within 15 minutes (can't change that, it's bitpay company policy). Sorry about that. I can send you a new payment request.

BumP for Christmas

210 euro for 300GH?

you can get over 500GH of more efficient bitmain or spondoolies gear for that value (450GH S3+ is $200, 1.7TH SP20 is $700)

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

My thoughts exactly .... though for 300Gh/s @ 220W it is less wattage per Gh compard to the others, but is the premium on the outlay recoupable in the short run to justify the purchase .... I don't think so.

The S4 and SP20 are actually more power efficient as well as cheaper and more reliable.

- 300GHs is minimum, a 10-board miner hashes between 300 upto 380 GH/s
- it is very small and silent
- it is very stable and efficient:

check these stats from some our testminers at btcguild

check these stats from a customer mining at kano.is , he uses some 8, 9 and 10 board Yiazo YBF miners running on several type of (old) PSU's  Grin

Yiazo YBF miner can also be used as a small warm-air-blower and mining bitcoin at the same time. Your wife won't mine because it's silent  Grin

Still too expensive, just keep siting on these until you can push them at a reasonable price.
Maybe you could mention what you consider a reasonable price ?

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

An SP20 is 1.7TH/s for 530 euro, so asking more than 100 euro + shipping for them is going to be a tough sell.
