After the previous rounds of testing some fixes have been made and now we're ready to start again.

For those of you who have already installed the various python dependencies you don't need to do anything except get the latest client code either with git or as a tarball.

See here.

https://gitorious.org/black-market/pages/Windows

Have included some sample contracts, have a look at those.

Try depositing only 0.01btc to play with.

Buys, sell and trades are posted to bitcoinglobal on twitter so see whats there.

Will be releasing a tutorial on how to use later today.

Gotta go, have fun.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Also, looks like you haven't finished future contract yet... it has the same oath as the bond contract

Sorry about that, tried to get the last updates done before rushing out the door (let that be a lesson, never do anything like this in a hurry as you'll mess it up).

I'll fix that soon(next couple of hours, just back from meatspace work, require meatspace fuel) and update this post then.

No no, my article talks about setting up an anonymous currency exchange, which allows the exchange to get cash from clients while remaining anonymous.

This a a stock/futures/bond/ and more market.

Also, looks like you haven't finished future contract yet... it has the same oath as the bond contract

The only difference between a bond and a futures contract is what is that the nominal is bitcoins for a bond, and some specified commodity for a futures contract. The both must pay the nominal by the maturity date.

Anyway great news, the server is back again, with a few changes as well as  a tutorial.

No, stock exchange. Not a currency exchange.

Still not sure how it will work though.

Kind of, mtgox is a market where you can trade bitcoin for USD. This is a market where you can trade bitcoin for stocks, bonds, and futures certificates issued by bitcoin uses. It allows coiners to pool their bitcoin resources to achieve a common goal.

For example, coming together to form a bitcoin mining co-op, or even in my case where sveral forum members including myself have put our funds together to build this market. And once we earn profit, easily pay to our shareholders.

It also means users or groups can look for loans in the form of bonds.

As well as allowing users to trade on the market.

No bank accounts involved.

Nefario, this however requires thrust in the person issuing the stock/bond/future that they will pay out later and don't run off with the bitcoins. How are you going to handle that?

Yes(as do all shares), which is why you don't buy any from someone you don't trust and who are not transparent.

When the exchange launches we'll be listing shares for our company(actually these will be shares already issued to the first investors, myself and several others), we have accounts, will have quarterly reports, and auditing etc.

There is myself as "CEO", ColdHardMetal as secretary and accountant, and theymos as the company treasurer. We also have several shareholders (remaining nameless) who have a high reputation in the bitcoin community.
