I haven't had trouble with the 66 client before. Just wondering if there are just not a lot of nodes out there. I take it since it's a takeover you lost the nodes from the OP?

Hmmm...
All nodes dropping out, no connections, cant get any version to sync.
WTF happened?
Edit: Downloaded the chain from scratch , seems ok now, synced with 9 connections

right, buddy happening, the problem is that not everyone has made update to the new wallet, a lot of the time blocks out DOUBLES IN THE VERSION 7.0, and others mined the same block in the wallet 8.0, and leaves orphan and there the problems begin, broken block chain & connection problems |

To follow up, loaded a backup wallet, it will open in v7.0 and is syncing. Will close in a bit and try v8.0 again.

v8.0 is working fine for me now, that was bizarre, anyhow, I just synced v7.0 then closed it, then executed v8.0 and everything seems fine now.

Today I check my wallet and the same thing happened to me, I was looking in my pool and I happened the same except it all mined blocks were orphans, photo below I EDITED USERS for privacy to them!!!!  On the other hand, I will to further investigate, that error is very rare that error is hashMerkleRoot, which is the original wallet like also, hashGenesisBlock is still the original!!!!!! For what I see and analyze it seems that someone has created another wallet with these (CHANGE) as they are, hashGenesisBlock = uint256, uint256 hashGenesisBlock, and very importantly assert (block.hashMerkleRoot == uint256, that is, that is giving problems. If I investigate in http://66.altcoinexplorer.cf and I see some strange transaction, will do my best to release another 66coin version HARDFORK with new chain block and 3 different POW.. |

With that said, someone wants some [66] as I see over 550 Mh/s on the network this morning. Looks like its mostly 1 person, not sure why they would throw that much hash on the coin since it wasn't needed, but that will prevent anyone else from being able to solo or find many blocks at other pools. So if you want to get some of those coins being hashed, jump on Cryptopia's pool and ride the hash whale. |

Please commit your changes to Github and update OP so the exchanges can upgrade too. They are on V.7 and have very poor connections because of the old seednode is down. V.8 wallet gives an "assertion failed" and crashes when starting up unless you have synced fully with V.7 wallet. I´ve got one wallet V.7 running and one V.8 ( on diff computers) til the network stabilizes, my V.8 wallet only have 3 connections... Best Regards. |
