Nonsense. A Nobel means nothing when Al Gore can win one for creating a stupid PowerPoint presentation and beat out somebody who risked her life to help people escape the Holocaust.

He is a committed liberal bomb thrower that thrives on the attention people give him. Kind of like the liberal Ann Coulter.

"liberal" Ann Coulter?

I'm suspecting the liberal version is what was meant.  Two sides of the same coin and what not.  Being a political shock jock is certainly profitable.

there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of opportunity as a liberal though.. hate krugman if you like, but at least he's not a glen beck or rush limbaugh. i can't think of any other liberal who is worse than krugman too.

Well in the US, you could go down the list of multimillionaire MSNBC hosts.  While they denounce each other on the air, you put the Fox and and MSNBC pundits in the same room they will laugh all the way to the same bank.

Allow me to echo the "that word doesn't mean what you think it means" sentiment.

What Krugman said was conservative. If you're thinking "that is wrong krugman is a liberal", stop posting (and stop that thing where you remind yourself to breathe in and out)

Regardless if he's liberal or not...still an amusing prediction.   Definitely didn't work out too well for him.   Smiley

I guess his prediction about bitcoin should be considered "conservative" too, based on his past track record then...

Just bet against him seeing his record. Chance of winning is high.

Should not associate this idiot to liberal.

If conservative have it their way, we will all still be living in the cave right now.

Why is that liberal?

Paul Krugeman is a liberal, in the context of US politics.

It will be interesting/humorous to look back at bitcoin naysayers in the same way!

Sure, but the prediction has nothing to do with liberalism...

It's a good example of liberal shortsightedness.

Tell him not to then. His choice, his Nobel win, all based on his liberalism conviction.
