I have a R9 280X pulling 3.65Mh/s

I have an 8 core I7 4770K with 7 cores running pulling 500 Khash/s

Both have been started within 1 minute of each other

The CPU has submitted 3330 shares and the GPU has submitted 3690 shares.

Shouldn't the GPU vastly be out performing the CPU?

Thoughts?

Very high likelihood that your CPU is hashing out far lower difficulty shares than your GPU.

There is no way on earth a 4770k keeps up with any gpu mining x11.

Really? Which version? I am using the one of lasybear and get 3.35Mh/s.

you need to oc the core to 1200 or something, to reach that hash

no doubt a newbie  Grin

The pool always try to achieve similar share finding rates for miners by adjusting the difficulty.

What is the difference in coin earning rate at pool for both cases?
