In that case, you could create an offline wallet with Electrum in an offline computer (no internet connection).

I've always used blockchain.info and never had any sort of problems with them. I think they were down for maintenance once.

As you mentioned "so i cant trust my computer.." in your above post, I assume you have no idea if there are malware and keylogger.

If there are malware and keylogger on your computer, your wallet alias (or login link) and your password on bc.i could be leaked when you create and login your account, and your bitcoin could be gone.

I use ARMORY (bitcoinarmory.com), mainly because of it's simple design.

Bitcoin-qt is the most secure and bug-free among the wallets but you have to download 20Gb of blockchain data,
if you want some reliable "light" wallet you should use Electrum / Multibit / Armory.

I use the core QT client for my cold storage. For my online/day-to-day coins, I just use Blockchain.info's online wallet. If I'm holding coins, they aren't held on 3rd party sites/exchanges.

Don't hold large amounts(the term is relative and 'large' can mean different things for various people) on online wallets.
I recommend using Electrum, quite friendly, open-source and secure. If you need more options, look into Armory.
Or, if you have a Mac, definitely check out Hive Wallet.
For Mobile usage, I'd suggest Bitcoin Wallet for Android, or Mycelium(it has a built-in marketplace, sort of like a decentralized exchange). For iOS, you could check out Blockchain.info's wallet, available for jailbroken iPhones(it's the only one that I know of).

Why don't you just mark as read, move along and stay out of the way?

Look at the discussion he would have missed by following your request.

If everybody did as YOU want there would be little to no discussions here anymore.

Edit:

Also, if I remember correctly the search feature here simply sucks, especially for newer members. What is it 6 minutes between searches?

Agree, Armory is great. You can find lots of info here on the forum about Armory.
