Are we any closer to Bittrex or Polo?
I suggested the coin to Bittrex earlier on IRC and they said 'It's on our list'' But they also said they had read of problems with the wallet so are hesitant.. I've had no issues with the wallet?

They sent me a msg, you can check previous pages. but they didn't mention anything about the wallet. wallets are working fine.

Then how pools are working !

I sent to Poloniex, and they said the coin is still new, also they want to see community demand.

http://lion.chickenstrips.net found 3 blocks last night, need to get more hashers, it is set to 0% and the withdrawal fees are set to cover the network transaction fees.  A 0% pool will actually lose money if the transaction fees are set to 0, because it costs coins to transfer the coins, so eventually the withdrawals will stop working as the wallet goes into negative or the pool operator is buying coins to supplement this.

i saw that conversation play out in irc, and i can confirm that bittrex is concerned about the stability of the wallet...

There is no problem with the wallet, as you can see pools are working smoothly. and no one from the community report any crash or anything.

yeah that was bogus i saw it go down on irc, basicly seemed like they couldnt hoard a bunch and dump it so justified shutting it down by claiming wallet issues. if you haven't noticed bittrex is under ipominers thumb and do whatever they ask. people don't seem to get it, that guy uses that pool to promote whatever coin he has a bunch of, if he can't bank than the coin gets turned off. except for doje and shibe which they had up for some unknown reason because those 2 were huge turds.

ipominer dealt with kore through a bunch of forks, i lost a ton of coins as a result but the owner had a bunch so not one bad complaint about the obvious wallet issues on that coin. The bias and manipulation is getting out of hand anymore. people need to wisen up and force these guys to baghold and lose once in awhile.

There is no problem with the wallet, as you can see pools are working smoothly. and no one from the community report any crash or anything.

This whole "wallet issue" comes from IPOminer who stated on their website:

Jun 15 8:00 PM We added a new x11 coin, LionCoin (LION). UPDATE: The LION port has been removed due to problems with the wallet constantly having to be restarted. No blocks were found.

from:
https://www.ipominer.com/

After I saw this I did a little investigating of 3 of the larger pools which I won't name.

All three pools said they NEVER had any such problem with the wallet.

Also, since I am a customer of IPO miner I can tell you that they really didn't have enough hash to find blocks, in fact they claim to have found no blocks.  The fact is that they found ONE block and it was an orphan.  I think they were butthurt about it and decided to make up a reason to drop the coin.  They usually get in early enough to rape a new coin but they were already too late to rape blocks with LION having over 20GH/s hash.

I openly challenge IPOminer to defend their statements here.

Here is IPOminer's bitcointalk thread if you want to ask them about it:

We were ready to mine LION from launch because there was a fair amount of demand for it from our miners. I had to restart the wallet more than 5 times between block 150 and 220 to get it to continue sync'ing blocks from the blockchain.

Finding, or not finding blocks, has absolutely nothing to do with it. We often mine coins where we have 500Mh on a coin vs a network hashrate of 100Gh/s+, and rarely find blocks -- but we mine them anyway if they're profitable to mine. Why would we give up on a coin after 20 blocks just because we hadn't found a block yet? That's insane.

um. i dont think you have any clue of what you are talking about. IPOMiner is one of the most legit pools around. Its not the pool admin's responsibility to test line by line of a new coins code. You mine at your own risk. quit placing blame on others.

how can ipominer justify shutting down lion while no one else has had wallet issues and then support that turd kore that was a total clusterfuck? and then fudding around that the wallet has issues and now the exchange is saying wallet issues because of what ipominer said? i'm not blaming ipominer they are a good pool and we all knew kore had isssues before we mined it, but you can't support a coin with problems and then fud one that doesn't and expect someone not to say something.

We shut the port down because we had to restart the wallet more than 5 times between block 150-220 to get it to receive blocks on the network. That's a fact, not fud, and whether or not anyone else had the same issue is irrelevant to us being unmotivated to deal with that kind of problem at 4am on a brand new coin. The difference between that and KORE was that we hadn't actually mined any LION by the time we shut it down, so it was an easy decision to make rather than risk continued problems overnight.
