Hi all,

I know this has been covered before but now I’m info-blind!!

Please could you explain it like I’m 5!

I use multibit on Win 7.

I would like to create a cold storage address to withdraw my daily trading profits.

This wallet needs to be offline and I need to regularly send BTC to it.

One day I would obviously like to be able to access the BTC.

I know its simple stuff but I've been blinded by Cold Storage, Paper Wallet & Private key.

What in your experience would be the easiest method of achieving this?

Thanks in advance.

Rgds

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

You're 5, I can change your diaper but I doubt you have much use for a bitcoin wallet.

Thank you, I didn't know if you could top up a cold storage wallet or not.

If it's simple cold storage I need then I can do that

Thanks

Electrum.  Find an permanently offline computer, install with USB. You'll get your addresses.
Save the seed somewhere safe.

Send funds to your one of your addresses.  You can either create watch only install or simply view balance on blockchwwin.info.
