Hello,

I had 5$ on a US Open future. The guy that is connected to the ticket I placed did not even make it past qualifiers, hence he did not gain entry into a US Open spot. This seems pretty wrong to me, because the guy does not play at all and the ticket is for the US Open, not for qualifiers.

Some evidence to support my view from there policy page;

http://www.5dimes.eu/sb_rules.html#golf

"In match-ups and futures, wagers on golfers NOT teeing off to begin an event will be graded no action unless otherwise noted.  Wagers will not be refunded on any option where "all golfers have action" is listed."

5Dimes is notorious for making weird rulings.

I would recommend going to SBR forum, and filing a complaint.  They are able to help in most cases get you to a correct solution, by contacting 5Dimes on your behalf.

I don't really think they would rob for $5 and not exactly the right forum as 5dimes is with USD but was it listed that all golfers have action?

^I agree with this. Did you contact their support?

Also, if you have bitcoin, you can check us out as you can make your own golf bets; BetMoose. Not sure if you'll get liquidity on golf but worth a try.

Cheers,

Not I know anything about sports betting but isn't it your fault for betting on him in the first place?

It was not listed as all golfers have action on my ticket. Only when I contacted support did they say that.

$5 isn't much when you just count the one person but if they did this to 10,000 people that's 50 grand.

People wave this stuff off all the time but that little bite they take here and there equates to a lot of revenue, banks do this all the time.
