New competition in the multisig wallet provider space is a good thing.

"Calvin", however, has made a number of fairly dubious claims, and that's left me, at least, feeling rather uncomfortable with FrozenBit.

It will be interesting to see how things progress from here. I think you'll have a tough time getting over the negative image he's left FrozenBit with, but for what little it's worth I wish you the best.

If I might offer a small bit of advice: the more open you are, the better. For example, even if you don't choose to open source all of your code (which is perfectly fine when it comes to the server-side code IMO), placing the code which you do decide to open source up on GitHub (or similar) earlier rather than later would be a good thing.

I want to jump in here. I've know Jeff_FrozenBit for quite some time. I have a personal relationship with him. You can trust what he says. No one knew about this scam he was pulling. However, FrozenBit's backend (domains and server) was all controlled by someone else on the team which makes the executive decision to remove Calvin much easier.

So what happened? How did he scam everyone and get away with it?
Well, from the start he made himself seem legit. He talked, he followed through with things he was saying, he got the team together. Everything. So any logical person would believe this is a real project. However...he "changed" his name a couple times (as previously stated) and has completely fallen off the grid. Then they went back to his profiles and discovered some new scam reports on him, he was considered a Bitcoin Scammer.

He is being pulled from the team. New adjustments are being made.

I know they are deeply sorry about everyone who has lost their donations and more.
I can assure you though that the project is being developed still. It's not stopping. It's too much of an opportunity. FrozenBit will continue.
