Turning RSG into BTC...?

A couple friends of mine and I are working on starting our own business and we're in need of capital to cover our start-up costs. I saw that back in 2007 there seemed to be a decent amount of people trading in-game Runescape gold for bitcoin/s and I was wondering if the same could be done, 7 years later?

Any response would be greatly appreciated and for what it's worth we have a total of ~500M gold in-game.
