The Ukrainian Army is claiming that they are in full control of Shchastya. Dead bodies are littered along the highway. Dozens of rebels detained by the army. Battalion Aidar mercenaries were also involved in the battle. Ukrianian army just 20 kilometers away from Lugansk.

The Ukrainian Army currently outnumbers the rebels almost 20 to 1. There are some 40,000 active personnel deployed there (Army, NazGuard, Right Sector, NSA, Mercenaries.etc), compared to some 2,000 or so rebels. Also, the army is having air support. The urban warfare in metro cities such as Lugansk and Donetsk is going to be extremely bloody, but unless they get more reinforcements, the rebels won't be able to hold on for too long.
