A few days ago I lost 4 BTC in a single stupid bet on Just-Dice. 96% chance of winning - or 4% risk of losing, which was exactly what happened. That was my entire bitcoin balance, gone in the blink of an eye. No words can describe how horrible that felt and still feels today.

My wallet balance now sits at 0.00128 and I have no one but myself to blame.
https://blockchain.info/address/18T9DP2kz2yGGAfmbRCtifmHYTha6enNxR

So this marks the end of my bitcoin adventures. I still believe that bitcoin has a bright future, but there's simply no way for me to stay involved. I want to forget everything and move on.

Moral of the story: never gamble what you cannot afford to lose.
Farewell bitcoin community.

I don't expect to win when I gamble, what I want to is to enjoy that is why I only bet small amounts that I can take when I lose.

Good luck, your only reason for using bitcoin is to gamble?

I don't think saying Goodbye to bitcoin is a wise decision . that won't recover your losses..!
Saying Goodbye to Gambling sounds a wise decision to me. Stay away from gambling take a break from your normal routine life going someplace  quite will help and coming back stronger and learning from your mistakes and not repeating same mistakes over and over again helps.
So Avoid Gambling.
Stay Around.

People think that these 96% and 99% bets are completely risk free. But unfortunately, that is not the case. There is a lot of difference between 96% and 100%. You will gain very little, if you win the bet, and you'll lose a lot otherwise.

Crazy bet Bro 4btc just to make 0.16? I rather take the risk on blackjack or stick it on black in roulette. The problem of gambling online you don't see the real cash only numbers  Smiley

Sorry about your loss in gambling, but your greatest loss would be to get out of the bitcoin altogether. Bitcoin has a bright future and you may be surprised how much a mere 0.01btc today may be worth in a few years' time.

Sounds like a huge fucking scam.... those 4 BTCs would have been worth $160K if the Winklevoss prediction comes true

I have lost over 9-10 BTC by risky Alt coin investments so I don't feel sorry for you, sorry

Gambling is bad habit which is not easy to get rid of. Once you win, you want to win more and bet more, then lose more. Once you lose, you want to recover back and bet more, then lose more. You end up losing everything you have. No matter what you are gambling with BTC, LTC, fiat etc, you should learn this lesson. It is none business of leaving btc community. If you have strong faith with btc, you should leave btc.

Feel sorry for you but this bet wasn't smart at all, if I'm right you did a 4 BTC bet to win 0.16 BTC with 96% chance to win? In my opinion It wasn't worth the risk compared to what you win, you should of taken 0.16 BTC from your 4 BTC and played It on live roulette , blackjack or sports betting or online poker.
