What's your proof? When you accuse someone to a crime you should provide evidence. Do you know the Dev? Do you see any problem in the OP? You just shout and then run away?
They use the same shortcut and same name of an existing coin, they even know about that. I don't know the dev, but I see he either does 0 research or he gives 0 fucks, in both cases I don't want this coin. "Whitepaper, anonymous, multipool....." He just put up all hype words together, I can do that too. When you state your reasons, we can talk about them and the dev will have a chance to defend himself/herself. Actually, I agree about the name and the ticker part. I don't see any reason to use another coin name for your new coin. |

I am open to changing the name of the coin - the other name discussed was QuantaCoin with a ticker QTC. However, the coin Quantum currently isn't using any of the domains we want and it is only available or exchanged on 1 place where it is steadily dying. For now we will stick with the name Quantum - I think it sounds noticeably better then QuantaCoin. Should we have the need to change it in the future for whatever the reason we definitely will. However, I am confused how this makes us a scam. |

-Roadmap- Raise money Build website / forums / social networking accounts Finish coding algorithm Make a test pool for the algorithm w/ rewards in BTC Develop anonymity features and build them into the wallet. Run a small anonymity test using BTC Combine the mining with the anonymity and build all wallets for release. Create the exchange / marketplace / gambling / faucet sites. Get all promotional media / guides for release. Release! |

Just a simple math, total coins would do 4.000.000$ at IPO price. That's not a market capital where coins start.
Many other coins have been valued similar to that amount and other much more limited coins innovation wise have been valued in the hundreds of thousands. Curecoin for example. IPO @ 10,000 coins / 1 Bitcoin that is $2,800,000 - they raised 55 Bitcoins. (they did this IPO back when the BTC was at $1000) Upon release all IPO coins were valued at 30x the amount people had invested in them at - many people complained the IPO price was too low for them. And that is a coin similar to ours in some aspects and we are still planning on doing more innovation. |
