Have you read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504530.0 Mining not holding BTC? Especially when there seems to be a lot more people adopting it online into their storefronts?

Well, you're kind of in a tough position.  With $1000 of BTC (I'm assuming here you're going off of current conversion rates, so you've got about 1.6BTC) you're close to breaking into the 1TH/s hardware.  Unfortunately you're not there yet.  Either keep saving your satoshis, or grab some more of the S1s if you've been happy with them.

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

Buy coins not miners!  Mining BTC is not worth it these days...

For now, S1 is still the most cost-effective choice.
