So ive setup an account with eclipse mining pool and put all the info into the miner and hit start but it doesnt seem to work. At the moment im using GUIMiner. All its says is:

2014-06-17 15:12:35: Running command: poclbm.exe username_worker*:password@eu.eclipsemc.com:3333 --device=0 --platform=0 --verbose -r1
2014-06-17 15:12:35: Listener for "Eclipse" started
2014-06-17 15:12:36: Listener for "Eclipse": WARNING: ADL missing (no AMD platform?), temperature control is disabled
2014-06-17 15:12:36: Listener for "Eclipse": eu.eclipsemc.com:3333 17/06/2014 15:12:36, checking for stratum...
2014-06-17 15:12:36: Listener for "Eclipse": eu.eclipsemc.com:3333 17/06/2014 15:12:36, started OpenCL miner on platform 0, device 0 (GeForce GT 640)
2014-06-17 15:12:37: Listener for "Eclipse": eu.eclipsemc.com:3333 17/06/2014 15:12:37, no response to getwork, using as stratum
2014-06-17 15:12:39: Listener for "Eclipse": eu.eclipsemc.com:3333 17/06/2014 15:12:39, Setting new difficulty: 9.99984741211

So any ideas why its not working? I changed it from the built in address for EU eclipse because I saw that was wrong
Oh and before you say im going to earn nothing, i know im going to earn very little its just for fun!

You using your bitcoin wallet address as your username? It might take along time for you to get any payout most pools now have a minimum amount

You will never get a payout, it's too high and with your GPU you won't earn enough to even meet the minimum cashout limit.

Because those logs are obviously from GUIMiner, and people that use GUIMiner are ones that think that they can get rich by running a program on a laptop. They will mine with their CPU, and if the drivers are correct, GPU.

If you read his full post you'll see he's doing it for fun then in the log it shows he's using a gt640 which I don't think is a laptop GPU
Either way he already knows he's not going to make anything

"running a program on a laptop" was simply an expression, I basically meant on a computer. He knows he is going to earn very little, but I don't think he understands how little that is, so little that you simply cannot cashout.
