I recently purchased an Avalon 2 220 GHash/sec Bitcoin miner.
Registered with GHash.IO pool to mine bitcoins.
Performance from miner was highly variable, ranging from approx. 1GHash/sec up to approx 120 GHash/sec, but certainly not at 190-220 GHash.
Parameters in Cgminer config were optimised for mining pool and for over clocking (frequency set to 1400; difficulty to 128 etc).
Found that after several minutes mining, miner would stop mining.
I now can't even get the miner to connect and have message in miner status saying socket connection failed: connection refused.
Can anyone please offer any assistance/help.
Many thanks

I would consider buying the miner in a barely-working state at my risk (of course, guaranteed that the miner performs how you describe it in the post), if you can't get it to work. Make an offer, including shipping to US if interested. (I don't guarantee that I'll take it, however, as it depends on price and more details)
