The moon is a cold, relatively small rock stuck orbiting our beautiful Earth.
When Bitcoin is valued at prices which are today considered crazy, some of our elite will be in a position to go way past the moon.
A real world version of Starfleet academy will be open, and the future will be almost limitless.

I had not seen those posts, the moon seems so small when you consider how big the Universe must be.

Well if 1000 is the moon then a million would probably not even bring us past the solar system. But the steps aren't really defined and they are just used as a joke mostly.

I don't think it really affects the price at all to call it the moon or something else.

But will we ever reach the moon? I considered the moon in this context to be some indeterminate place far higher than we are now.

I like sci-fi but have never seen the word "newtypes" (in this context) before:
"A Newtype is theorized to be the next step in human evolution in the Gundam universe"
