The new forum should have a field for a Bitcoin address, this field should check if the address is valid, also for security changing that address should take at least 7 days (avoid fast account hacking), also when the last update date should be shown when displaying the address.

That way you can tip any user without asking for any address.

Hmm, more security features would be a good idea and maybe the week grace period of the changing of addresses could come in handy in certain circumstances, but I think it could also have negative consequences if you lose access to that specific address and you can't change it for a week. I think being able to see a log of all previous addresses used could be beneficial though, especially for account recovery.

Could also throw in Bitcoin balance display using Javascript.
For example, when the address is hovered over a dialogue would come up displaying the current balance.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.

Might as well automate it to display the next address in the deterministic sequence once a tip is received.  That way we can prevent address reuse.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I really like the idea of displaying the address update date, but not the 7-day security measure for the same reason raised by hilariousandco.

It will be a good feature too, though some may prefer to use one single address to collect all tips for easier checking.

Good idea, but make the 7 day lock configurable / optional.
