hello super ,
J'ai pas mal d'erreur sur mes rig :
Stratum - socket send failed 10053, disconnect
Stratum - connecting to 'xmr.crypto-pool.fr' <212.129.44.157> port 8888
Stratum - Connected
DevFee: Pool Diff 45000.3
et
: {"id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Blockexpired"}}
Stratum - connecting to 'xmr.crypto-pool.fr' <212.129.44.157> port 8888
Stratum - Connected
c'est normal ?

Salut,

IP fixe, ports ouverts, canal fixe si WiFi, ...

Dear superresistant
I've read a lot but can not find out how to monitor workers, something like "XMR_WALLET.WORKERID". Can you help me?
Thanks

We are developing a basic solution to track workers yes.

We have a lot of detection system to block cheating attempt. It may result in false positive a bit like antivirus sometimes.
There are different level of banning. If it's the first time it happens, it should be temporary and you'll be able to reconnect very soon.
We do this for your own good. A real cheater may steal some of the hashrate from other miners and reduce your profit.

We cannot use Payment ID from a pool because of the transaction fees. Use a normal wallet (full node) or mymonero.com

Hi, I have these 2 errors with claymore gpu miner. The no new jobs for 20min looks unreal, just look at the timestamps and what about that blockexpired error, is that a normal reject ? Is there anything I should do to not have these errors?

The pool was simply out of capacity with the recent global hashrate increase.
We added a new server yesterday.
The DIFF is set back to normal.
Everything should be running fine now.
The new server is strong enough to hold much more hashrate than before.
Sorry for inconvenience.
You can send more hashrate.

I just moved my hash over to your pool.

The pool I have been mining on the last few days seem to be having really bad luck, I was earning ~30% under what my projected profit was.  I hope that with this being a larger pool the variance will be reduced somewhat.

with eth/etc there is very little variance but it seems with Monero there are huge waves of variance.

That's true, the variance is huge on Monero, even on the biggest pools.
You made a good choice moving to our pool because we've been extremely lucky recently.

First, for englisg readers, sorry for the french post : it is most easier for me and the subject is not particulary important for the Monero community.
---

ENG : The hashrate you see on the pools, any pool, is just an estimate. There is no way you are going to get this exact amount of XMR and we do not guarantee anything regarding the estimate. Dwarf is simply using a different calculation that always give a higher estimation. We could also overestimate but that won't make more profit.
The goal of the pool is only to reduce variance, that is very big on Monero.
If you want to compare two pools, there is only one way to do : divide your hashrate in two equal parts and mine on both pool for at least a week.
Jumping on a pool everyday is not going to tell you anything.
An other interesting comparison would be to solo-mine for a week and compare with what you get from a pool. You will understand why reducing variance is critical for miners.

Huh

Check out this NVIDIA miner for Monero :
https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight/releases

Here is a quick tutorial for mining :

1: Download the mining software.

2: Extract the .zip file. You will be left with a folder like the one below.

3: Now, inside the miner folder we have just extracted from the .zip file, you'll need to hit ctrl + right mousekey (for windows 10 to get the extra options you need to hold shift+right mousekey). By doing this you'll be given an extra option "open command window here", click it and a command line window will appear.

4: Now that our command line window (miner) is ready to go, all we need to do is type in the command: "ccminer -o stratum+tcp://xmr.crypto-pool.fr:3333 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x". You have to replace "YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS" for your actual XMR wallet adress.

Salut,

Merci !

Ok let me have a look.

The problem is that no one is developing a better software for NVIDIA at the moment...
Developing mining-software takes a lot of time and effort.

Ok but i have wait and wait, and i dont see more XMR. Even blocks are confirmed.

So 99624000 Hashes submitted for 0.27 XMR seems normal to you?
