I'm looking to buy one redeemed 10 BTC Silver Casascius Coin. I would like the hologram to be in decent condition.  I prefer Silver/Gold, but would be interested in an all Silver.

Please PM with offers.

Thanks

Good luck. The people with those tend to keep em intact. Only a moron would peel one of those 10BTC SS/SG coins in desperation.

The same argument could be made for any physical bitcoin.  I doubt someone today may redeem a funded one now, but it could have been redeemed some time back.

Cas coins aren't just any physical bitcoins. They are THE physical bitcoin.

I already tried to buy the redeemed 1000 BTC gold coin from goat and offered $5K USD. He wanted $50K USD. =/

Good luck with finding this. I know most people with these would keep them intact without redeeming them. I would be too embarrassed to sell one on here that I had already redeemed.Tongue

It all depends on how much you are willing to pay for it.

There is no record of a redeemed 10BTC silver/gold coin ever selling. So if you do buy it you would be the first.

Just keep in mind you are buying 1oz silver token worth about ~$20. Paying around $2.5K for it seems insane to me.

I would pay no more than .5BTC for it.

Actually, a redeemed 10BTC silver/gold coin in amazing condition sold on ebay not that long ago.  I wanted it and bid up the price.  It would have been about 2 btc at the time.  I consider that a good indicator of market price.

Damn. I'm surprised. This seems to be in April when it peaked and there was a lot of hype.  That's usually when these coins move fast and sell for top dollar.

I believe mckmuze has one redeemed 10BTC with gold B unless he sold it already. He may be willing to part with it for the right price. PM him.

Unlevereged financial instruments acting as a store of value that fluctuate 50% within 10 minutes is perfectly acceptable. I think it should be offered in IRA form to soon to be retirees.
