I'm thinking of moving to Android OS after 5 years, but not sure if I really will do it. My main problem is that I have probably €1000+ worth of apps and €500+ worth of music within the iOS environment, buying all this back on an other platform can take some serious money.

Nothing wrong with Apple, but I really like the larger screens that the Androids have, and also much more costomizable.

How are you guys doing this when you switched from iOS to Android ??

Jee who spends that much on apps? That's nuts. I made the transition from Apple to Android last year and glad I did. I lost my apps but my music was safe.

Android is still insecure. Not much of a change there.

No signature ad here, because their conditions have become annoying.

Rumors saying that iPhone 6 will have a much more bigger screen than the current generation. Why don't you wait just wait for the next generation iPhone? If it really have the bigger screen it will save you a lot of trouble migrating to Android.

You can always use both phones, one as your professional phone one as your private phone

You can probably get most apps and music you like for 100$

I think this is a good tip, but the much bigger screen is just a rumor at the moment, hope they will really show up with a large size phone.

I switched a long time ago, never looked back.  Iphone sucks in comparison.  I heard they were adding some features in the newest version that android's had for like 5 years. Just read up on some widget customization tips and you'll be fine.  Don't get a task killer.  Check out phandroid.com for other tips.

If you are really set on keeping the iOS feel on your android you can always install a iOS theme or launcher.  YouTube has plenty of instructional videos.

Well I don't care much for larger screens personally but if you're willing to wait a bit, the iPhone 6 will have a larger screen.
It's sad but the Apple we have now is completely different from Jobs' Apple. I tried to shift to Android as well but found it somewhat inferior to IOS in a number of ways.
And I find that the Appstore is miles ahead of Google Play.
