Anything more expensive than 8,000,000,000 $
Why 8? Because that'ss approximately the current dollar value of all the bitcoins? Or i didn't get something important?
The market cap of Bitcoin is about $7.85 billion dollars, and it is increasing every day.
Now, then again, it all depends on the fluctuations of the market, but it is nicely summed up as being at about $8 billion.
If the price went up to $1000/coin, then the cap would go up to $12-billion (About) and if the price dropped, so would the market cap.
Now that market cap also uses all the coins in the world, so it's not 100% accurate. It just calculates the coins mined multiplied by the value, or
n=# of coins
v=value
c=market cap
n*v=c
t(t= In a very simplified version)
So even coins that were lost or destroyed still have "value", even though they don't technically exist anymore.
