Insane Prediction of the Year:  Bits will reach price parity with the US Dollar within the next 3 years.

This means 1 Bitcoin "Bit" will be worth $1.

Today, at ~$600 per Bitcoin, $1 buys you approximately 1,666 bits.


lol, this is more exciting than the, "Bitcoin will Match Gold in the next 12 months", prediction I made last year at $130.


The real blast off begins once the Public Bitcoin ETF is launched later this year.  Next year should see a bigger Bitcoin (and alt-coin) bubble than all the bubbles so far, COMBINED.

Buy what you can now and stop being stupid by selling for a measly 10-fold.  

One Caveat:  We should start seeing massive inflation starting next year which will negate some of the "real" wealth effect of this prediction; albeit, it will be significantly small relative to the actual rise in Bitcoin's "real" value.

Starting next year the masses will no longer think of purchasing Bitcoin in terms of Bitcoins - that will be out of reach of most people. 

So most will look at buying actual bits instead which should help accelerate this prediction.

Insider news? Or why do you believe in this ridiculous price? I would say 10 000 - 25 000 ok, but don´t forget 2nd gen coins and other altcoins (ixc ). If bitcoin reach 1mil there ll be no money left for my ixcoins

Vlad2Vlad might be right, even if he has mistaken the forum section. Alt-coins are doomed and there is actually none that could threat Bitcoin now or anytime in the future. Litecoin will probably come along, perhaps dogecoin, but not any of those alt-coins trash we have been seeing announcing all the time.

But, I do not know where did you, Vlad2Vlad, take your info? What is your opinion based on?

Don't you people get what the ETF means?

There are trillions of dollars under management which right now can't touch Bitcoin, by law.

Imagine all those money managers, many of which are managing massive pension funds (IRA's, 401K's, etc.) putting just 1% of their funds into Bitcoin.

Then imagine massive inflation coming [starting next year] bail-ins and forced account confiscations, and the trillions of dollars people are holding in cash at home all across the US and Europe, FEAR will kick in (and GREED) and the masses of the world will be pulled (greed) and pushed (fear) into Bitcoin and the ETF will make it easy to invest and legal.

Don't worry about alts [short term] they will see a massive spillover-effect and also massive speculation.

But in the long run they'll kill all alts, so I would start looking for that one coin they want to take global.  It won't be Bitcoin because Bitcoin will collapse after the wealth redistribution so they'll throw that out along with all the scapegoats.

Buy and hold for the next 2 years and you can become a millionaire from just a few thousand dollars.

That's been my conclusion and I put my money where my mouth is.  Over 90% of my ~70 Bitcoins are in iXcoin.

People seem to not realize a very simple recent event:  The most powerful man in the Bitcoin Universe, CEX.io CIO, Jeffery Smith, is a new member of the iXcoin Foundation Board.

You think guys like that join the boards of ShitCoins out of sheer boredom?  Haha!
