No, it doesn't help any.

If you want to try to find a hash collision so that you can steal coins, you are better off making the simplest possible transaction, which is just one single key.  Once you've done that, it is just a matter of finding keys to match all 1,461,501,637,330,902,918,203,684,832,716,283,019,655,932,542,976 possible hashes.

It does mean that you don't need to waste time generating new keys and can just do a hash operation. Hash operations are much cheaper then ECC operations. That being said, the difference isn't all that much to matter here.
