We assume that all of the following happens after the day when 21 million BTCs have all been issued.

X=$332.9 million (The price of a Boeing 747-8 in 2011)
each BTC will worth $15.85

X=$1billion (The construction cost of the Roscoe Wind Farm, estimated)
each BTC will worth $47.62

X=$27.320billion (Ebay's total assets in 2011)
each BTC will worth $1300.95

X=$121.6billion (Vietnam's GDP in 2011)
each BTC will worth $5790.5

X=$8.48trillion (Total price of mined gold in the end of 2011, estimated)
each BTC will worth $403809.5

Laszlo's payment of 10,000 BTC for a pizza will turn out to have been about right.

What if $ turns towards worthless? Well this pizza probably already is worthless.  Grin

The paining (sic!) is done with the QPainter class inside the paintEvent() method.

I look back fondly on the few hours last year when a 10,000 BTC pizza would have cost $320,000.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

The pizza purchase was co-ordinated in this forum's Marketplace:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137

It was actually two pizzas for 10,000 BTC. Here's a comparison of that purchase with other expensive pizzas:
What is the world's most expensive pizza?

At least that pizza looks VERY delicious!
I wish one could get anywhere near like that around here in visual deliciousness factor at the very least.
