There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

We're sorry for the late release of the source code, we were just struggling to get a message back from the dev. I know we are 20 mins late but at this stage its not a huge problem as the diff is still very low. Enjoy mining!

A couple of major errors in source. Block reward is 50, OP states 100. Difficulty retarget is every 720 blocks, not KGW as stated.
