Wait.. wat? OMG 3/6 is the launch date? aCk.
There is no hard release date that I know of and I have looked pretty wide for it. AMD has said 1'st quarter 2012, so the quarter ends on the 31'st of March. I am looking forward to getting one myself, or a pair of 7950's with 1.5gb ram (for less money then the current 3gb model). It would be cool if 3/6 was it, I will be ready to purchase! |

I know there is no official release date but we all know they are around the corner so im getting ready to buy me a shit load of them.  Both the 5850 and 5970 are around 6-7 months old. The 5850 run around 50c with fans around 35%. The 5970 run around 75c with fans at 55%. I never put any extra volts in them. |

Since the case in the pic above seems to hold 5 video cards (5850's) how about $600 USD for 5x 5850's shipped to Calgary, Canada .....?

What about pulling them and doing a re-pack with cards + power/molex adapter only in a small box ? .... With free shipping in the US, can it really be $10 per card more to ship to Canada if 5 are shipped ? ($50 more ?) The only thing is, I am looking to buy ASAP.....hopefully you can still sell and not have to wait for 7990's to be released. |
