This has got scam written all over it. Why would you store 100 BTC without a password written down or something you'd definitely remember.

The font on the image looks different, if you look closely. I highly doubt a 100 BTC wallet would not have a backup

Yeah if you look close enough you even see that +50 BTC transaction was edited. It is much clearer than the numbers above, which have the JPEG compression artifacts all over them. You can even see how the original number was painted over using a circular stamp tool that copied some of the grey background.

Besides that I can guarantee that for a normally used wallet having 100 BTC flat with NO change is pretty much impossible. Especially since there were no flat transactions.

Either a troll, or someone offering to sell the "precious wallet". Tongue

Can't be real screenshot it has been done really stupid as there is a transaction with commas but the left ammount is exact number? Highly unlikely..

But what would the motivation be, to do that? Attention seeker? or just troll?

I will never store, that amount of coins on any platform on the internet. It could be Paris Hilton or Bill Gates under a pseudo name, but they wipe their ass with that kind of money.  Grin

Eish, what would people do next. If it's a scam, I am too dumb to figure it out.

Easily, if you had bought exactly 100 btc :p
However it seems fake for sure.

I dont get the basic fact that why someone will keep 100 BTC in a wallet relying on password. Anyone having this volume must have the private key of the address/addresses where this wealth is spread. Looking at the post, how he wants to sell it by luring at 100 BTC, it is quite evident that it is a SCAM attempt.

It depends on when the coins were received by the user. if the coins were received (either via mining or purchasing) more then 1.5 years ago then the 100 coins would be worth barely four figures
