I accidentally stumbled on this page: https://42btc.com/mine/en

a 4.5TH miner for 3.642BTC Huh

For real?

Can a Chinese member confirm if they are legit?

Btw they offer 72TH miners (16x16x282MH).
Is that for real also?

I am guessing the Chinese banned Bitcoin....  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

When will people realize that buying mining is always a scam? If the mining produced more wealth than what you're giving them for it, they'd mine and you'd never see the ad.

I'm reminded of those School of Philosophy ads that I see on the trains.

They're trying to sell you "true and lasting happiness, through philosophy".

If they were so happy without money, they wouldn't be spending it on advertisements designed to get your tuition dollars, now would they?

STOP TRUSTING ADS FOR FUCKS SAKE.

+1

These people are relying on suckers to take a chance on them, only deal with people who are honest and upfront with you about what they're selling, I don't have much against ads if they're honest and not annoying always glance through the fine print and double check the mathematics they're claiming before you go anywhere need them, trustworthy merchants will also always have unmoderated feedback.

You can Roi if you get a decent miner and don't play with pre-orders, especially if electric is low.
For every person gaining real ROI from buying mining equipment, there are ten people getting fucked.

Prospective buyers need to be aware of that, that's all I'm saying.

You coin a phrase for that. Maybe "The Butterfly Labs Effect."

I wouldn't be underestimating Chinese miners.

If there is one thing the Chinese know how to do, it's scale.

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

I think the appropriate word is sarcastic.

If he really did buy then he is asking to get scammed

Soon it's going to be exahashes out of nowhere...

Mining is less profitable then getting coins right now and HODLING....

I did the mistake of getting hardware (which paid itself off) from BFL...

I could have had 50-60 bitcoins....

The only difference was that if BFL had actually delivered on time.... When 50 BTC per block was the reward I'd have struck gold and be able to follow my dreams.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin
