How do you redeam a microsoul physical coin?

This is a breif description of PBT Physical Bitcoin. My physical coins are the most secure on the market. They will still be useable after fire, water damage or even secure if your friends get the code that is hard engrved hidden under a security sticker. The coins come fully loaded with 1 bitcoin. Engraved on the back of the coin is a private key so at any stage you can access your funds when you need. I have added an extra bit of security to these coins by writing the private key in a simple coded format. This means the owner of the coin is the only person who can redeem the bitcoin online and not anyone who finds it. I also have covered the coded private key with a security sticker that states the Bitcoin address and your unique Physical Bitcoin Number which will be added to the register of all coins sold.

By 'redeeming' I am guessing you have private/public keys with a bitcoin balance, and want be able to spend from that address? You will need to use a client such as armory or electrum, here is more info on wallet choices: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletThen you will need to sweep or import the keys into your wallet so you can spend from it. That you probably shouldn't buy a physical coin. People considers them collectables, and they are sold at significant premium (compared with the price on exchanges). |

I never understood the appeal of physical coins, especially when people were paying a big premium for them, but I guess now they turned out to be a great investment as they've been selling for an even bigger premium. It's nuts.

I think the main appeal is as memorabilia, which appeals to collectors. The ability to hold a bitcoin in a physical form is appealing, although concept of a physical bitcoin is an oxymoron. Perhaps that is part of the appeal. In their current state, they aren't very feasible as a currency. That might change some day. |

Is paper wallets easy to setup? I feel paranoid on the sites they copy the private key.. despite stating it being random. |

Just in case anyone else is pulling their hair out trying to redeem their 2013/2014 microsoul coins. Peel, import private key into blockchain.info wallet, send btc to coinbase. Don't forget Bitcoin Cash (BCH)! Download coinomi app, import private keys again into coinomi bitcoincash wallet, send to krakken, trade for BTC, send to coinbase. |

That you probably shouldn't buy a physical coin. People considers them collectables, and they are sold at significant premium (compared with the price on exchanges). Yeah, there are some risks with physical coins. But at the same time, they make great gifts to get people into crytpo. |

Wouldn't you make more bitcoin off it by selling it as a collectible in the Collectibles board on this forum? Those coins always have a buyer that will pay a small premium over face. You find a buyer very quickly and using escrow have bitcoin in your wallet within a week (or less!) |
