Lost Highway - David Lynch
Not only was that a great movie, it had an amazing soundtrack as well. Came out before 2000 though, looks like the OP is looking for movies from after the year 2000. If I had to pick a movie after the year 2000 to watch, I'd pick Borat. Sacha Baron Cohen was hilarious in the movie, and I'm not much of a fan. |

Great suggestion, I downloaded and watched it because of your post. Definitely a decent movie. I figured out the ending before the ending due to the clues they gave us, but still, just a great ending. |

And remind you resident evil has like 4 or 5 movies right after the other lol. So that should take awhile to get through. |

"district 9" is one of my favorites.
there was rumors that they will make district 10, dont know what happened.

Prates of the Caribbean (the fourth movie is not needed). Also Surrogates with Bruce Willis, something like Matrix (people exist in reality by connection to a android) but it shows how the future may look like
