May I ask where you found those holograms?

I bought these from another seller, who says the holograms came from eBay. They are quite generic, but are tamper resistant in a similar way as other holograms.

They look cheap!  Huh

I have messaged Bitmmarket in regards to his accusation that they are 'fake ass coins'. his only response (twice)has been essentially "why do you have so many...it suspicious because you have several"

I stand by the authenticity of these coins. I have done a good amount of business on these forums, and I would not risk that reputation by selling something fake. I challenge anyone to make the case that these are not rare, original Cassacius coins exactly as I represent them. I acquired them through a private sale from a forum member registered mid 2011 (ith one of the most reputable forum members actin s escrow), who bought these right from Casascius.

Can anyone vouch for these coin's authenticity so I can go on and not worry about people thinking I am scamming?

I just said they look cheap, which they do.....excuse me for posting. I prefer to buy solid silver that looks like a bitcoin and at least at the end of the day is worth 1oz of silver. I don't get it, but I won't post in your thread anymore....have a good day.

I appreciate the offer, but its much too low.
I took a photo of the back with flash (which will highlight scratches), right after taking those 2 off the roll carefully. They are certainly in 'mint' condition as they come straight from the 'casascius mint'; however he likely did not handle these the same way as his silver coins. I know that he did have them in large loose bags during production, which would create some scratching on most coins (which most visible of which would be covered by hologram)

I will verify these coins are legit.  I purchased these coins straight from Casascius as blanks.  They have been in my possession since 2012.  I sold what i had left to elianite.

Hey fuckface, I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Let alone you. The people that know me ( chainsaw, blazedout419, Michail1, BigBitz, Goat, nightlowace, etc. ) know what I'm about and what I do.  Furthermore I am more active in #bitcoin-otc than this forum peppered with trailer trash like you.

I find it highly suspicious he has so many silver redeemed 5BTC coins and has some fake stickers to go along with that.  I want to know where those coins originated from. It's very suspicious. OgNasty would likely agree. Especially wrapped in the form of a roll. Most people that buy mike's coins don't go around peeling them. Also I find it funny that none of those coins have any traces of the peeled sticker. Usually you have some residue left behind. All of those seem spotless. Furthermore you registered in Jan 2014. I personally wouldn't trust anyone post october 2013.  That's when BTC exploded, and that's when more scammers entered the arena to capitalize on the hype and higher value.

I appreciate your suspicion.  I was also suspicious as well before doing my DD when he asked me to escrow this deal between him and longterm member and seller tymm0.  I was even more suspicious because they were sold to elianite with original Casascius private keys and I suspected that one of them may be tempted to pull a scam.  Before agreeing to escrow the deal, I let my concerns be known and tried to talk elianite out of offering them with the compromised private keys.  I assume if he was attempting to be dishonest, he would have put the coins together and put the generic holograms on himself while keeping the information relating to the private keys to himself.

I remember people accusing me of being a scammer back when I joined in the summer of 2011 because, "That's when BTC exploded, and that's when more scammers entered the arena to capitalize on the hype and higher value."

I have no dog in this fight.  If anything, I'm actually a competitor to elianite with this product.  It would be very easy and self serving for me to also pile on with the scam accusations, but it would be unwarranted here.  I genuinely think elianite is just trying to participate in the Bitcoin economy.

It does have the blue painters tape that casascius usually used when shipping the coin and bars. They are probably dinged up because they are stacked on eachother (bumpy "B" jiggling around on the Private Key paper hole). Neither solid brass nor brass plate is immune to scratches.

You are lucky, I wanted to buy some of the junked 5btc coins but never did. Good luck on the sale.
