You will not be able to withdraw funds so that your USD balance is lower than $50 unless your total balance has exceeded $500 notional for 90 days consecutively. It seems they have an interesting clause for the $50, but its acceptable given the fact that they are giving you $50.

I would have followed through with Coinbase and their @edu campaign instead of this $50 free campaign.
