I thought these were really useful high level descriptions of where a bunch of companies are in their latest bitcoin regulation talks. The page on Wikipedia was pretty good, but there were some countries missing from there that I really wanted to know about like Portugal!
Hope it's useful for anyone else trying to get a handle on what their country is thinking.
http://www.loc.gov/law/help/bitcoin-survey/Would be a really helpful summary but things move very fast in bitcoin land and a lot of it's already out-of-date. For example, they list the UK as charging VAT on sales of bitcoins, which hasn't been true for a few months.
