Is there a way to run a start.bat
bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitsolo.net:3334 -u my btc address -p my password
crashes so If I want to solo mine on bitsolo.net
I would like to just click on the start.bat file
philipma - with a .bat file is exactly how I run my bfgminer and that should work just fine - if not you should post a note on the bfgminer thread as there are more people watching it which could help with troubleshooting it.
I've now switched to using a bfgminer.conf file and I start bfgminer directly - no need of a bat file. If you haven't created a config file you can tell bfgminer to save its current running configuration to a .conf file - press [ S ] to go to the settings screen and [ W ] to write the .conf file.
sounds goods
I did the s I did the w here is a screen shot my skill at writing is all cut and paste. I do not know how to write the file.
I would need a screen shot of one written so I could copy it and add in my solo btc info.

Or enter a new file name and then hit ENTER.
duh if you only knew the about of time I have wasted because it took me from sept 2013 to now to learn this.
I must have written in ten thousand words on set ups of bfgminer in the last 10 months.
Well I finally learned thanks.
A question about the 6 chip unit what is the lowest power watt per gh you got .
set at 45 or 40 freq and tweaking the volts with a different resistor.
these units could be sold as a long term lottery ticket mined at bitsolo.net
silent and cool at 40 freq if you could do lower watts per gh .
get one of these with a bfgminer 4.4.0 program on a usb stick for the programmed challenged.
did you assemble these your self?
I would love to have one capped at 10 or 9 gh but lower power use due to a different resistor.
And have the standard one for comparison.
