So I've been mining POT coin for a weeks. However, I'm still very new to this. Does anyone have any idea of a good resource that I can reference to find out which altcoins are the most profitable to mine for. I've seen a few pools that offer a service in which they pay you in bitcoin and automatically mine for the most profitable coins, however, I would like to mine for those coins myself and trade them accordingly. By the way I'm GPU mining with 2 R9 280x's.
Also, when I do find an altcoin to mine for, how do I get rid of, or reduce the stale hash rate? I attempted to mine for Blue coin the other day but all I kept receiving where stale/invalid hash's, none of them where accepted. how do I fix that?

XMR very profitable right now, much better day by day profitability than DRK, and power consumption same as X11

How you calculate power consumption? I choose between renting some servers and buying computers - what would you recommend?

power consumption on X11(DarkCoin) and CryptoNight(Monero) is 50% less than on Scrypt, also cards are a lot cooler. Today single r9 270x gives you ~0.0028 BTC per day by mining XMR....

there is an altcoin very profitable at the moment..
The price per coin is about 200 satoshi, but unfortunatly I wont give away the name of this altcoin... Otherwise the net has would rise significantly, giving no chance to cpu and gpu miners.
All I can tell you is that it already has a block explorer and that this altcoin is SHA256 driven.... And its net hash is about 4ths diff is about 512k It has been posted on bitcointalk forum already, about a few months ago...
Just look after a the coin named "New casino coin Sha256 altcoin"..
You will find it probably... Google is your friend...
