They're all identical across several cards, right? Triangular shape, rounded corners.

ok picture this...the ace of spades...it is basically a triangle with a stem correct?

on some of these fans the stem is wider than the originals. the triangle fits in an area so its placed perfectly, but if the stem of your ace is wider than the slot it fits in, you have to file it down and tie wrap it to attach it properly... i did not have a problem with my 59's its the 58's that would not accept the wider stem...let me post a few pics in a couple of minutes...

You mean the heatshrink tubing over the fan wires? If it's too big, shrink it again or glue it down.

EDIT: Looks like these fans don't have heatshrink on their wires.

see the area the triangle fits in...then there is the extra space...



see the triangles, and the extra tab to hold the wire? these are different sizes... I just cut off that tab and held the wire down with the smallest tie wrap i could find.

Oh, the tab. Can't say that I have ever seen it as large as in your second pic.
