Buying bitcoin is itself an investment and the most secure, most investments inside bitcoin are scams, btcjam has defaulted many loans so be cautious and just buy more bitcoins ANXPRO

That's very shallow approach. Luckily for many is a bit more than "buy cheap, hold and sell with profit".

If everyone applied that logic, bitcoin would be dead by now. Who would give a shit about the currency no one uses (everyone just hold, waiting for the right time to dump)?

thats correct. and you can always safe and spend coins at the same time  Smiley , you dont have to choose.

also: the beauty of BTC is , that everyone on this planet can do what he wants with the BTC protocol.

In my opinion the best investment opportunity is to just buy and hold bitcoin. In the long run I think you'll likely see great gains. Other investments are too risky and offer little return.

It really depends on your risk appetite.
For those enjoying risk, you can lend your bitcoin or invest in gambling sites. But you should diversify your investment, and never lend/invest more than you can lose.
For those hating risk, you just need to put your bitcoin in a paper wallet, and wait for the bitcoin price to rise.

How safe is this? I only know about bitfinex but I don't know very well how does it works.

Not sure if you consider gambling an investment but you could spend a little on that and maybe make some profit.

Gambling itself is not an investment, but 'investing in house' is.

Frowned upon by many, but it can be a pretty good one, you can get a better return than providing loans on btcjam (or similar).

Investing in house bankroll is okay but you should only invest in the sites you trust. A few sites have gone belly up in the previous months, so you need to understand the risk and don't risk more than you should.
