i think being able to pay with visa or paypal etc is important, sending moeny via international payments can be time consuming.

I had to pay money into my bank
then do an international transfer which costs a certain amount each time
then you have to transfer from gateways if you wish you to convert to other coins, etc all this takes a lot of time.

Sure, but one of the big issues is the prospect of chargebacks with such methods, in combination with higher processing costs. There are good reasons why these methods are not prominent with BTC exchanges and the like.
