Hi,

I will be in Denmark, and probably Sweden too, for 2 weeks and I plan on using BTC only. I managed to book accommodation through Destinia with BTC and there are place to eat and some bars in Copenhagen that accept BTC so I should be fine Smiley Any ideas if it's possible to get from the airport to the town without using fiat? I'm even considering walking to town so that I don't taint the whole plan just because of that issue Cheesy
Also, the Copenhagen Bitcoin meetup is at the end of July but I won't be staying that long, if some of you guys meet earlier I'd like to meet u. And possibly exchange a bit of BTC to Krone to cover any other expenses (I hope that still counts as using BTC since I'm not using any of the fiat I'm bringing with me as a backup) Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Server-assisted clients like blockchain.info rely on centralized servers to do their network verification for them. Although the server can't steal the client's bitcoins directly, it can easily execute double-spending-style attacks against the client.

Where in Sweden? If you go to Gothenburg, there's one driver at Taxi 600000 accepting Bitcoin. I've not tried it myself but he's listed on the Swedish Bitcoin page. His name is Mats and the phone number to the company is +46-31-600 000.

It's too bad that not all drivers accept Bitcoin but it seems Mats hasn't got that many customers yet to convince his colleagues to follow. Here's an article about Mats in a Swedish newspaper.
