There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Oscer, there are a few folks on the Litecoin IRC channel who have tried to get the Github Poker Script up and running for a
community Litecoin Poker Room. I've worked with them to try to get something coded and hosted, but we did run into a few
roadblocks.

I have also looked at the Seals Club Model for an LTC poker room, and that uses a different poker module, Maven.

You can view some of the LTC Poker Room discussions on the LTC Dev Club thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=63092.0

PM me if you need more information or assistance on getting an LTC Poker Room up and running

Thanks,
Stew

This is what SealsClub uses for their Bitcoin Poker. I had done some research on this poker module for an LTC poker Room.

Would work great with the following caveats...

--- it does require dedicated windows server which could get pricey for monthly hosting,
--- you need some coding on the front end to register users and convert LTC to poker chips.

Good luck!

Yes Windows is a pain, but that Maven Poker module rocks.

I think it has helped make Seals Club the most popular Bitcoin Poker game online.

Relatively inexpensive, you can get the Pro version for $99:
http://www.briggsoft.com/pmavens.htm

For completely unbranded/no maven logo copy, will cost you $500.
