I got my RockMiner R-BOX today and they didn't each come with a wallwart like I thought. But this means I can just hook it up to my 600W PSU that I have just laying around.

The power things I got plug right into the r-box and the other end is a red and white wire. Can someone please tell me how I would go about hooking that up to my PSU.

Thanks, but it doesn't seem like he shows a method to hook it up to an actual PSU.

To hook up to a PSU you will need something like

Shit... I wasn't aware I needed something else to hook them to a PSU. I wanted to get these setup today. Any suggestions on how to hookup at least just a few today.

You could cut a wire on the PSU (should be the molex cable) connect the red(Rbox) to the yellow(PSU) and white(rbox) to the black(PSU) it should work.

Ok, my PSU is modular, so do you think I can do that for all the r-box I have? I have 7

They can be powered off any 2.5mm DC barrel connector, so any 12v supply of at least 7A with that connector

Ok, so I would still just do what that previous post said right? Connect the red r-box wire to a yellow PSU wire, and the white r-box wire to the ground (black) wire on the PSU.

And the PSU I have is a cx600m. All the wiring is black, I just looked and I don't see my multimeter. So it looks like I will have to use a schematic or something to find out what one is "yellow" and what is "black".

check this guide for R-box - http://fuk.io/rbox-miner-review-how-to-setup-rockminer-r-box-bitcoin-asic-guide/
PSU you can use even from Jalapeno or Gridseed if you are not good with cables

  sorry

the little yellow box shown by minersource is pretty good.  I have one of them and I am running some gridseed blades with it.  cablez has a thread on this site direct plug-in to your atx psu and to your r-boxes  ..  i think his gear is a little better then the box minersource has.   but for me I have both.

1 - please do not try to make your own cable without a volt meter to verify your work.
2 - please do not cut the cables out of your power supply.  The power supply has a much longer useful life than any mining hardware you buy today.
3 - please do not try to make your own cables without a volt meter to verify your work.
4 - see #3

You are not going to get 7 R-Box connected via molex adapters.  They have PCI-E to barrel adapters for sale but they generally won't work on R-Box.

A 20 dollar break out board is probably your best choice at this time, but please, pretty please, find your volt meter before you plug anything into a miner.
