I support TOMOE and I vote the first one. It's  beautiful and moving.

Another thing about the Tomoe logo along with the "NEM" text.  On it's own it's better than inserted into the cube design's font.  The font is all wrong for it.  The curved corner of the "M" conflicts with the corresponding straight line of the "N".  It might be able to be redesigned so that the font is different, but that can't be kept.

Totally agree that the font needs to be redesigned if we go with something like tomoe as a symbol.

ok so this is intense

makoto1337 a japanese administrator of the New Economy MovemenT NeM Project made a very unpopular logo called ToMoE-  he with all his energies promoted that for weeks now even tho NeM community doesnt like it overall- to makotos suprises.

Now today what was discovered is a embarrassing for the makoto: the unpopular logo was just rip-off ?

The new logo is "flat" compared to the 3d appearance of the cube, especially at the size of a 16x16 pixel icon.
