Hi everyone,

as I said in another post, I created a small bitcoin OSX dashboard widget.
Here is a screenshot :

For now it's pretty simple but I'll probably add more features soon.
It simply updates everytime your display the dashboard, or when you press CMD+R.

You can download it here here.
and see the source on the Github repository here : https://github.com/DuoSRX/BtcTickerOSX

Suggestions are welcome Smiley

[Edit] Oh and donations are welcome too Wink 13Ws2TkDStbLAPNvFsN8Qi7xaFof1sn9yz

Where's the pricing info coming from? It might be good to have a choice of sources under the Info tab, for when mtgox is getting DDOSed...

Also, why does the Info tab have a "Terminé" button?

+1

Also, would be nice to see even more info, like total money supply, difficulty ++ (more inspiration from http://bitcoinwatch.com )

Nice work Wink

Indeed the pricing is coming directly from MtGox. I'll probably add other sources in the future Smiley

Woops it's a translation problem. It's French actually. I'll change that Smiley

Good idea ! Grin
Although I'm still wondering how I can add more infos without cluttering the interface.

Thanks for the feedback !

Yeah, it's pretty clean right now, which is nice.

Some dashboard widgets have a +/- button that can be used to toggle between a small, clean window and a larger window with more information in it. That might be one solution.

It's happening again. About a week without updating. Tried reinstalling, cmd+r, nothing. Please take a look at it if you can. Really useful tool! cheers

Dig your progress.  Would love to see a buy/sell button so I can instantly make transactions.

I'm working on a tangentially related project, it's a desktop app which displays pop ups on screen whenever the price moves within a specified range.

Here's an early screen shot:

I've loved the widget but with MTGOX circling the drain, all this widget is accomplishing is scaring my wife.
"Bitcoin is only $200?!?!?!"
Any chance the exchanges can be updated to something a bit more relevant?

Thanks!

Can someone tie this widget to another Exchange site/API as Mt.Gox is long gone? Or are there any alternatives? Thanks!
